Sorry I did not read the numerious comments on your poor selection of
a knife.
I just clicked on the link you posted and could not stop laughing.
I mean come on.....An Anchor, what for? Trippin migets with twine tied
to the pommel.

Pleeeeeze you had to be 3 sheets in the wind to brag on that.

Oh boy... I've got some pathetic yokel raving about a friggin' bolo
machete he picked up at the local Wal Mart for $3.99 talkin' to me about
knives? Like I said before.... I like my Buckmaster, it's a well balanced
tough blade that keeps an edge for a long time. I can gut, clean, skin and
quarter an entire moose with this knife and it will still slice a sheet of
newsprint length wise in one light stroke!!

I happen to like the design but never loaded the pins.... if that's your
only point you'd better run along and wipe your nose... maybe nav & the
girls would like to talk to you about their kitchen knives.... cause you
ain't got no business tryin' to discuss blades with real men.

Bolo Machete.... what an urban commando!! What a nav wannbe! Next you'll
be bragging about your letter opener and fillet knife?

Pffft!

did you know that the special forces thought the overall design was
lacking as they never took it up. But Hollywood thought it was perfect
for macho BS (Rambo).

I will admit it excels in just one area: as a joke

Bwhahhahahhahaha

Just as well:

a grappling hook would void the warranty."

Man that's tough

"Blade thickness is set by the manufacturer and has a great effect of
slicing ability. Your hunting knife will never slice like a filet knife
or a kitchen knife, no matter what you do to the edge."

What were you saying about my knives not being as sharp as your Rambo toy?

It must have been a slow car if you were chasing the thief on foot ;)

I had a friend who once crawled under the sink and rubbed peanut butter

cartoon-head people were talking to him under there.

Ahh the 70's...what a great decade.

Yep... this newsgroup kinda reminds me of it all.

Any other ideas?

Whoa nav... you seem really po'd!

I'll put my buck against any knife you have and it will out cut and outlast
it.
When it comes to a single knife I'd pick to be in the back woods with...
this is the one.
Now I understand your situation... you have no experience in actual survival
situations so you have to hunt the web for every negative review written by
another idiot who has no experience with the knife. I could waste my time
replying with internet sites to countermand your posting... but let's face
it.... I know this knife is excellent.

Fantasy knifes are not functional in real conditions. The fact my Buckmaster
has been in constant use for over 10 years in a multitude of conditions and
diverse climates speaks volumes to me.

I had fun kickin' your ass the other night.... don't get all bent out of
shape about it ... let it go!

Sounds to me like you were taken in boyo. In reality it is not (and
cannot be) as as sharp as my filleting knife -it doersn't have the right
steel. It is not as strong as my diving knife (a serrated sabre blade)
as it's contruction is a compromise -hollow ground with macho blood
groove and all.
Get used to it, these are facts. Sell it on e-bay to a wannabe Rambo and
buy a mans knife.

Cheers
