Canada Wins, USA Wins, everyone is happy.

Excellent Idea Michael.... and considering the impending draft in the
USA it won't be long before the remaining Republican Draft Dodgers start
migrating across in droves as well... . at least the ones who's
families can't "arrange" to have them avoid direct battlefield
experience.

We'll turn all of your Republican refugees into polite, considerate, pot
smokin', beer drinkin', anti-gun, pro gay marriage, peaceniks in a matter
of a couple of years.

Now repeat after me..... "How Ya'll doin' ...Eh?"

Yessiree... you'll all soon be reconsidering Ben Franklin's choice for
your national symbol! :-D

A hint that, unlike Joe and Scoots, I can actually get a passport.

Now there is a dilemma..... you can travel anywhere that requires a
passport.... yet any destination that requires a passport probably dislikes
Americans!

Kind of a Catch 22??!!

Americans don't need a passport to come to Canada Jon..... we also don't
require finger-printing a photo for customs like the USA now requires for
entry.

A damn shame, isn't it. Too bad the political correctness police (ACLU, et
al) have made profiling a no-no. So I, a middle-age white American male,
get the third degree at an airport in order to allow the security folks to
do the same to Ahmed or Mohammed without being "discriminatory." Profiling
could save the US tons of money, not to mention loads of time at the
airports and other transportation centers.

Actually, that's not the main reason for not using profiling as a
crime-fighting or anti-terrorist tool. The main reason is that it
doesn't work.

Ah, now the truth comes out. You just want to see the rent-a-cops
hassling people with darker skin than yourself.

It could save loads of time, but would only waste tons of money. And of
course, it would save *you* time (thus revealing your selfish motives)
but be a big hassle for everybody else... and it would be far more
likely to let more terrorists slip through.

I will attest to the fact that Max is a middle-aged white male....unless
he's been out in the sun too long..then he's a middle-aged male lobster...
