What on earth do you mean by "keep sailing"???? You haven't even started yet!!! Your little 2 hour jaunts with amateur crew, in the protected waters that exist around your marina don't count as "sailing". Let's face it, if you were going out for a real sail - then you would take some proper crew! Your sailing photos are filled with dolly-birds who are nothing more than decoration. You've never posted a photo that showed you doing some real sailing. Regards Donal -- |

It's funny, but I know people who cross the Atlantic every couple of years and do long deliveries. I've never heard them quote distance sailed or time aboard as a factor. They must not be real sailors either! Way to go, Donal. You just joined Loco in the Idiot of the Day award! (Now poor Donal will make some sad effort to claim a "good troll" after exposing himself yet again!) RB |

Why would someone who has crossed the Atlantic need to quote distance? Exactly. No one but you and Scotty seem concerned with distances sailed. RB |

Nutsy,
You may know of long distance sailors but I dought very much that they know of you. Those Long distance delivery guys are always looking for crew to sail with them. Experienced deep water sailors that will sail any or all parts of the trip. Usually who will sail for free. That way the skipper can keep more of the fee. If you knew any of them you would have had plenty of offshore time by now Ole Thom |
