These LIS thunder storms are
usually not very large as far as area covered. On days with scattered showers,
we manage to sail around most of those, too.

Exactly. They can be tiny and we've even sailed between two storms with ease.
Everyone I know does it.

Here in Ottawa we are enjoying a wonderful Fall,,
sailed all day on Friday.. on the Ottawa River..
underwarm and sunny skies.. one tack up and one tack
back.

Rain did come but stopped at day break.

My favorite sailboat is the C&C27 Mark III..
a racer cruiser.. with a 37 foot mast..
equiped with Hood Sails the boat is a dream to sail..
I often sail singlehanded.. and in heavy winds
sail with mainsail only..
