All I can find is ' Ithaca Gun Co.' engraved near the trigger, and
'Krupp Fluid Steel' on the barrel. Don't know what year.

Because he is a liberal that thinks the govt should control you.
He needs the money collected from permits to pay his welfare check.
Because he's to dumb to understand that criminals do not register
firearms.

What kind of Double barrell did your dad give you Scotty?.

I have on old 1894 Remington hammerless DB. Its made of Damascas

1900's. a
side by

years
ago.

He bombed several times with the support of Congress. And yet, at
one point they accused him of wagging the dog!

The Cole happened at the very end of his administration. He foolishly
thought that Bush would do something. He sure did! He went on
vacation!

It sure did take Bush until 9/11. He was on vacation most of the time
before that!

Thanks for nothing Bush!

The dude who planned the Cole attack and set it in motion was killed in
Yemen - reportedly when a home made bomb he was carrying in the trunk of his
auto accidentally exploded. Rumor has it that US intelligence whacked him
but we all know we'd never do anything like that in a sovran foreign nation.
Don't recall who was president at the time of his demise but Slick Willy set
the op in motion.

That's not fair Jonathan. By 9/11 Bush had already ruined the economy,
trashed the stock market and directed our schools to concentrate on idiots
like himself at the expense of the gifted. I's say he'd done plenty .... all
bad but plenty.

I stand corrected. I'd make a stupid joke, but I'm afraid
John Asscroft will think I'm subversive.

The heck we haven't. Rumsfeld was crowing about using drone launched
missiles against "suspected terrorist operatives" in several other
countries, including Yemen.

Can't be. Everyone "knows" that Slick Willy was just wagging the dog,
and that thick file of intel on Al-Queda that he handed George Bush Jr.
probably had all the pages stuck together.

Recommend y'all make up some suitable black powder handloads and enjoy
shooting it.

It was Grandpas gun. A wall hanger now.... worth to much to me to risk
shooting..

Just dont have a proper wall to hang it on right now.

Also have an un-issued 1944 Colt Model 1911 Navy issue still in
original box and wax paper. Havent shot it either. All my collectable
guns are stored at my folks house in a safe.

Ahh. You have whats called a guild gun. Krupp made the barrels, and
Itacha made the rest. Might even have another company make the wood.

Most likely it a 1910-40's vintage made for import. If it were bought
in Europe it would say Fluss Stahl on the barrells for Fluid steel.
Most of todays barrels are fluid steel. Yours should be able to handle
todays ammo.

Have you shot it any?
