Scotty Ahh. You have whats called a guild gun. Krupp made the barrels, and Itacha made the rest. Might even have another company make the wood. Most likely it a 1910-40's vintage made for import. If it were bought in Europe it would say Fluss Stahl on the barrells for Fluid steel. Most of todays barrels are fluid steel. Yours should be able to handle todays ammo. Have you shot it any? Plenty, bit not since I was a kid. That was my pheasant gun before I got the 870 pump. Scotty |
