"the put up or shut up" gun poll

12 ga. Remington 870 Marine Magnum pump shotgun with DEA lock-buster
magnum slugs for blowing holes in the pirates boats.

Colt Mustang 380 Semi-auto pistol for those close pirate encounters.

I carry them on my 13ft. dinghy to fight off the famous Kansas

you have a gun rack on a 13 ft. dinghy!
wow that's scary
i suspect i won't be sailing in kansas anytime soon
and i thought all the jokes had to do with pickup trucks

actually i have
an old and very beautiful (as guns go) 12ga from the early 1900's. a side by
side double barrel made in england and given to me by my dad years ago.
a 22 caliber from when i was a kid
and a 308

when i go sailing, i carry them in the closet storage area, all the way in
the back, up high with the alarm set and the doors locked.........

i guess i keep them as reminders of another time. and have not used any of
them in more than 20 years
heck here in NY they're are enough police that getting mugged is not a
concern.
more like having a private militia, whether you want it or not.

I have my Dads old 12 gauge double barrel, lots of memories with that
one. Also my first .22 rifle. Ganzy feels I shouldn't own such
sentimental objects unless I buy a permit. Why?

Because he is a liberal that thinks the govt should control you.
He needs the money collected from permits to pay his welfare check.
Because he's to dumb to understand that criminals do not register
firearms.

What kind of Double barrell did your dad give you Scotty?.

I have on old 1894 Remington hammerless DB. Its made of Damascas
steel so I never have shot it.

I am a liberal. I believe that people have a responsibility to society
for their actions. This has nothing to do with requiring Scotty to get
a permit for his old gun.

Joe is too stupid. Well, maybe not compared to a turnip.

Recommend y'all make up some suitable black powder handloads and enjoy
shooting it.

All I can find is ' Ithaca Gun Co.' engraved near the trigger, and
'Krupp Fluid Steel' on the barrel. Don't know what year.

flare guns
.22 cal.
pistols
assault rifle
mortar rounds
rocket launchers
or cannons
????????

I have many Guns aboard. A needle gun, grease gun, caucking gun,
spray gun,
staple gun, line gun, and indeed a flare gun.

If the gun Wackos freaks had their way I would have to get a permit
for each and everyone. Each if used improperly can kill.

how do you stow them and prevent rust from salt water and the elements?

I keep them well oiled and store them in a tool box and the abandon
ship grab kit. The line gun is in a case. I keep it in a gun stocking.
Its a cotton tube fine mesh that you spray oil on.

and what the hell do you need them for?

Killing........rust. Lubing, sealing, fastening,heaving,and signaling.

What business is it to you?
Do you think you have the right to tell any honest citizen that they
should not have guns?

target practice on bouys?

Thats and federal crime. If you are talking about aids to navigation.

sport fishing?

Not very effective. Most people use rods and reels.

whale hunting?

Not very effective and inhumane unless your useing a 50 cal at close
range.
Most people use gernade tiped harpons.

me?
heck mine are aboard the coast guard cutter near the indian point nuclear
plant..
thanks GWB

Why dont you thank Ossama Bin Landen? Or why dont you blame Clinton?
He knew the USS Cole was attacked by Ossamas group.

Your a lucky man. The Coast Guard now can Guard the Coast.
I dont know about you, but I think its a good thing they have armed
guards protecting Nuke plants. I hope they install patroit missles as
well.

You don't use your greasegun for protection????

Yeah, and he told the Bush administration about it just before he left
office. Bush did NOTHING!

When did this change? Ridge finally did something? When's he going to
get around to the 1000s of chemical plants?? Maybe in another four
years.
