With a solid vang one of the horses would have to be done away with. ??? A better analogy would be a plank locked in place at one end, and supported somewhere along it's length. Doug knows that. Its just to much for him to admit, as stated originally, that a rigid vang cannot give the same lifting power as a topping reinforced main at the end Yes it can, and many of them do. DSK |
