If you want to anchor, you will be a long, long, way from any food or drink. For that matter, many areas now charge hefty fees by the hour for tying up to a dinghy dock. Been to Port Jeff lately? Block Island? BB Looks like we're blessed Pete! Yep. Even in Sydney I could anchor out the front of a friend's place 5 minutes from my house. Down here, I have 2 moorings out the front of my place and can keep a boat right in the heart of the city for peanuts if I wanted to. We're safe from the likes of BB & BS tho. Neither could find us on an atlas let alone get here in their own boats. Been blowing 40+ knots recently and ****ing rain in between brilliant blue skies & sunny patches. Might come north for a bit of extra sunlight soon, after winter solstice parties are over. PDW |
