Hopefully Haggie isn't having to pay for the electricity usage of transients occupying her slip while she is away while not receiving any credit for the marina's "windfall". Transients? Shucks, I have to keep an eye out for slip neighbors, workers, and RVs in the parking lot plugging into our metered electric. We turn off the breaker and lock the box. When we had the wooden boat we were never sure how long we'd be gone so we kept it vague..."we'll be back next week...". If he ever did rent the slip I never saw a dime of it and paid my monthly rent just the same. Seahag |
