Default How Much Do You Really Sail?

"Donal" wrote

I've heard that the average sailboat spends 85% of its time underway with
the engine running.

the opposite for me.

*IF* you spend less that 50% of the time with the engine running, then you
either sail in an area with fantastic breezes, or you may be

overestimating
the time that you are running under sail alone.

Honestly, Donut, I motor about 10%, but then, they do say the Chesapeake Bay
is the ''Greatest Sailing Area in the World''.

Scotty

hope I didn't ruin your troll, if that's what it was.
