How Much Do You Really Sail?

Now *that* is funny.
Let's all be honest. How much do you
REALLY sail your own boat.
Why "your own" boat? Why not OPB's?

Most years I sail about 2000 miles. However, I suppose that as much as 50%
might be under engine. So I suppose that I REALLY sail about 1000 miles a
year.
Is that how far apart your destinations are, or how many miles over
ground, or miles thru the water?
Since I almost always go back to the same place I started, I tend to
think in terms of days rather than miles. The past two years I have not
sailed as much (surprise surprise) but still go out an average once a
week or so. Are there any bonus points for placing in regattas?
Actually, if trips on the tugboat count, then I made about 1800 miles
(nautical miles, destination to destination (or at least there and
back)) last year and already about 900 this year.
We sail Alien an average of 3 times a week and a bit more
in the last months.
Really? I'm astonished. I doubt that we would get an average of 3
suitable sailing days a week. You must have a good supply of wind in LIS!
Yep, and he carries it conveniently on board....
