All the wells are pumping full speed around here. Houston is booming.
It's about time the oilfield boomed again. And you ought to see all the tankers
offloading oil on the ship channel. We have a president that cares about Texas.

Don't assume that the high price of oil is good for us, we import
more oil than anybody. OPEC has us by the collective balls. The only
good thing that may come out of a high oil price is that *maybe* we
may come to our fossil fuel buring senses and develop an energy policy
that is sane and rational and allows us to disentangle ourselves from
the oil producing middle east. At least that is what the tooth fairy
and I hope will happen
