Excuse me! Just a few years ago with Clinton in office gas was above $2.00
a gallon. Where were you on another planet?
I have NEVER paid over 2.00 gallon. Not ever. I remember it was close a few
times. Now I'm paying WELL OVER that.
GOOD! I just paid 1.63 here, glad you yankee's are paying thru the nose.
All the wells are pumping full speed around here. Houston is booming.
It's about time the oilfield boomed again. And you ought to see all the tankers
offloading oil on the ship channel. We have a president that cares about Texas.
And I got news for you, the price is going to stay were it is for a long time.
Joe
And **** the rest of the world eh?
Don't assume that the high price of oil is good for us, we import
more oil than anybody. OPEC has us by the collective balls. The only
good thing that may come out of a high oil price is that *maybe* we
may come to our fossil fuel buring senses and develop an energy policy
that is sane and rational and allows us to disentangle ourselves from
the oil producing middle east. At least that is what the tooth fairy
and I hope will happen

Oh, I missed that. Things in Texas aren't all that great, to be
honest. The State budget is all fouled up and there is great ankst
and rancor over how to fund education, which is hardly a shining
example relative to the rest of the country as it is. Anyway, Dubya
was born in Connecticut, anyway, and received most of his formal
education up there, so they can claim him.
O and I'm now paying AU$ 4.77/gallon or about US$ 3.35
I would have thought it was worse down there after seeing those Mel
Gibson Road Warrior movies
Oz1...of the 3 twins.
I welcome you to crackerbox palace,We've been expecting you.
