My cards were made clear Jim.... there was a site posted here in reference
to a downed Mac... I've sailed on them several times.... from the Power
Sailor 19 to the Mac 26X. I've towed them out of harms way. I've tried in
vain to get them sailing well..... they refuse to get up on step when under
power. There were 4 of them in Yellowknife..... after 3 years there were
none.... they had to be hauled south to sell.

Remember when the salesman sold you an expensive vacuum cleaner that
wouldn't suck.... well now someone has sold you something that will. ;-D

Mooron, you will now be called a "Mac Basher" by Jim, his standard response to any post
that is not becoming to the 26M, factual or otherwise.

Dismay not, for he is apparently being coached by the Boobster.

Cheers
Marty

It is only a matter of time before Jim starts crowing about his home
theatre system:) Birds of a feather, for sure.

Well then Marty... he would be correct in his assumption. I do bash useless
trash marketed beyond it's abilities to perform as stated.

| Dismay not, for he is apparently being coached by the Boobster.

You see plots and twists where none need exist Marty..... most anyone is
able to troll as effectively as Bob. Make a statement you know will cause
debate.... defend your position even if you know it's not sound..... count
the strikes to the lure.... scores are measured by persistence and wit....
the first to break into vulgarity or anger is the loser.

I never consider myself as hooked because I pick my "fights" and keep in
mind the forum this contest is played in. I can as easily take either
position and defend or attack..... that's the mark of a shark on the
group. ;-D

You're the one who is lacking in credibility, not Mooron. You
are, however, incredibly stupid if that helps any.

I challenged Moroon to put up and shut up. -He doesn't want to put his

I'll extend the same challenge to you, Johnny. - DO YOU have any
evidence or statistics to help poor Moroon out of this embarrassing
situation? He is reduced to sputtering and growling and bragging about
his long sailing career so that he can avoid the question, and he could
use some help. (And in case you haven't figured it out yet, calling me
an idiot isn't going to cut it.)

It's pretty clear you are. You claim lots of things. So far, all we
see are lies. I'm certainly opinionated, but you win on the moron
issue. The Macs are butt-ugly. None with any sense of taste or
experience would go near them. Fact is a fact.

MacBoy,

Actually, given your lack of sophistication, I'm not shocked that
you would like they're looks.

And, FYI, if you don't think I have a valid point about the Mac
being butt-ugly, then why are you so worked up about it??

Actually, I'm not. But from prior experience in discussions such as
this, I have learned that when opinionated morons like you don't get a
response, even to asinine statements like your comments about the Mac26M
appearance, they jump up and down and claim they have achieved a great
victory. Unfortunately, that's the way liars like you play the game.

Rubbish!!!

You are a slave to popular opinion.

If, like me, you had the balls to acknowledge that he might actually enjoy
his purchase, then I might be able to respect your opinion.

However, on this occasion, you seem to have succumbed to popular opinion.

I'm disgusted! I never thought of you as a wimp.

That's a rhetorical question, right? g

Nature abhors a vacuum and it is only natural that something would drift

in
to fill the massive hole left by Bob's departure. I think it kind of Bob

to
apprentice Jim to the task of Troll.

I liked Capt. Neal's trolls the best. He could always come up with fresh
material. Jim seems to cut and paste his replies, and doesn't listen to a
word the experience sailor on this ng tells him.

What's with the computer problems to date?

Driver problems, server problems (home and ISP) etc, etc.

I have brand new ones now and don't want to think about it anymore...

LP (smooth sailing from here on out...)

Donal, No one is saying Jim will not enjoy his purchace. Most just
say he could of done one hell of a better job in judging what to buy
and enjoy then he did.

You can enjoy an old soapbox derby car made from okra crates and old
lawn mower wheels, but why stick with that ol soapbox car when you can
buy a Jaguar. You might enjoy the Jaguar more then the soapbox car if
your smart enough to understand that a jaguar is a better set of
wheels.

I know why your defending him. It's because, like him you paid to
much for a second rate production boat. You and Jim are birds of a
feather. I wonder if jims mac is going to have loose floorboards?

You were doing well until you got to the "loose floorboards" bit.

My empathy for Jim lies in the fact that I used to own a Bayliner 2455. I
had 10 great years on it. With hindsight, I would have chosen a different
boat. However, I don't regret my choice for a second.

Jim won't regret his purchase because he is sensible enough to sail a boat
within its limits. It won't perform in the way that he expects. That
doesn't really matter. He will still get enormous pleasure from sailing.
