The attorney general of calif is currently investigating
the allegation at the request of the sheriff's dept. He said
that either the sheriff or MJ would be held accountable.

a complaint it might be. Saying it on TV is not.

Since Michael Jackson made his statement
on TV, in public, I feel that legally, the
police have a right to prosecute him for
slander--or is it libel, since it is recorded?
