I'm sure that he is going to offer to pay for BE's lift-out totally secure
in the knowledge that BE has no boat. Sure will. All he has to do is tell us which boat and where she is.... Pretty simple. RB |

Better than that because there is no "us" paying only you. In about a week I'll be making plans for hauling. You can call the yard and give then your credit card number for my boat, and I will provide you with my USCG doc's, a copy of my drivers license so when you think it's someone elses, and even take you for a sail, that should cover the $4k for the storage. And if your nice I'll take you for a ride in my Ferrari, and I'll show you the copy of the doc's when you think I borrowed that too. 4K would be about right for a 40 footer at a Brewer's yard. $44 per foot for storage,
$16/f + materials for shrink, $10/f to leave mast in, more to unrig and store. Decommissioning engine, genset, etc. It adds up fast when you go first class. http://www.byy.com/westbrook/PPM-WS03.pdf "Bobsprit" wrote in message ... That's really cheap. Since the Canadian dollar is worth
about 60 cents US you are practically getting a haulout for nothing. But, guess what? I pay NOTHING for my water and electricity. I can step and unstep my own mast without the help of a crane. I can careen and paint my bottom without the help of a yard. I'm a real sailor while you're a semi-lubber. S.Simon "Capt. Mooron" wrote in message ... Holy Cow..... Sounds like a good deal Neal... how do you manage to
get it up on blocks to paint the bottom without a lift? "Simple Simon" wrote in message ... That's really cheap. Did I say I paid that? Those are the prices at a first class marina in CT, Brewers
Westbrook - same ownership as "Capri" which RB mentions often. My marina is the "most economical" in Boston. We have such amenities as our own onsite SuperFund Cleanup crew. Security is a by-product of being next-door to the LNG tanker facility. And should I feel the need, the Asphalt Distribution Center is right around the corner. "Capt. Mooron" wrote in message ... Careful - don't light a match around there.

Did I say I paid that? Those are the prices at a first class marina in CT,
Brewers Westbrook - same ownership as "Capri" which RB mentions often. But the fellow in question says he's at City Island, Jeff. No such marina with costs that high exists there. I have friends at Capri and they don't pay that either. The guy doesn't have a boat. Go ahead and ask him what boat he has. Nobody gets away with not telling the group what boat, if any, they have. He's busted. RB |
