Hollywood would have eventually set the record straight.

I saw a film recently where the "allied" pilots in the Battle of Britian
were mainly American!!

Last year the Enigma machine was captured by Americans!!


It's odd, but Hollywood says that the films won't attract American audiences
if the truth isn't twisted. Every victory, every invention and every bit
of good has to be the result of American action - or it won't go down well
with the patriotic audience.

battle for air supremacy.





El Al in North Africa was also a great defensive victory. I had in mind
offensive actions against the Axis powers by the British from the time
of "Peace in our Time" until 12/7/41.

You must remember that England and France declared war on Germany. That
was when Poland was invaded and went on the defense until the USA
invaded Casablanca.

wasn't smuggled. Penicillin is grown in mold, they just didn't change
their socks :^)

I'm not talking about Russia. They were fighters. They were also SMART
enough to move their production capacity out of range of the German
Bomberrs.

Even Stalin told Churchill that the "Germans can be beat, all you have
to do is fight them."
