Near shore means the same as Near Coastal in case you're too stupid to realize it.
Shore - - - coast basically the same. Look up coast in the dictionary. The first definition listed is 'seashore'. Get a life. S.Simon - the one and only "Rick" wrote in message ... S.Simon - "served as Chief Mate aboard a small research vessel ..." Oh Geez ... you poor delusional little wannabe. How on earth can you serve as "chief mate" on a vessel which is not even required to carry a mate, which is the only commercial vessel on which you could possibly serve as a mate of any sort since you lack any certification or qualification to serve in any capacity on any vessel with a manning level beyond a boat operators certificate. You can't even sail as an OS on a commercial vessel, you aren't even qualified to serve as an entry level deckhand. Do you know just how ridiculous you come across to those who know anything at all about licensing and manning? What a moron. And BTW, where does the CG refer to "nearshore" in anything? How does one obtain a "nearshore" ticket? Rick |

It seems I have to repeat:
Like I asked you the first time, where does the CG refer to "near shore" in anything? There is no such thing as a "near shore" license. People who have licenses (and use them)don't change the wording. You are simply a bufoon and a fraud, a pathetic wannabe ... Rick |
