You should have named her "Snail-ien".

I would suggest that you don't boast about your stepping stone's
performance, until you have a boat that performs.

I'm sailing a J29 next week, Donal. Now that's a pretty fast boat!
If you think a boat is slow at 150, what must you think of Billys, Moorons

or
most of the other boats here??!!!

You are the one boasting about your boat's performance, when its phrf is a
paltry 150!!!

Billy and Mooron seem to be contented with their vessels.

It's no wonder that you see your boat as a stepping stone!

I bet that your current source of income is also a "stepping stone"?? At
your age you really should have reached *some* of your goals.

It looks like you are destined to go through life without ever reaching any
destination.

You should look at most of the people that you, so freely, disparage.

Every post that SV does about sailing exudes contentment. Mooron seems to
live the life of Riley. MC loves his boat. Neal seems to be at one with
his boat. Capt America has just realised a lifelong ambition and is staying
in luxury in Hawaii. Jon is sailing regularily in the Bay. Skitch has an
IP, and BB seems to love his boat.

Only *one* person here seems to be unhappy with his lot! Only *one* person
seems to be stuck on a stepping stone at the age of 40+.

Yes, Bob. YOU!

Now you can go into your living room and tell (the non-existant) Suzzy that
you dished out a good beating to some weakling on the internet tonight.

Regards

Good words. Not only that but Ella love me too and will keep me and my
partner safe in any storms! When we first got her she misbehaved a bit
but with loving attention she has come to return our love.

Cheers MC

I know every lawyer there who can afford any boat he wants. Email
me your friend's name.

Let's try this, Skitchy...you know every lawyer in AOL Legal, but none of them
can afford a nice sailboat? I'm not going to post someone's name here because
you can't be trusted.
But if you "knew" anyone there, you'd know this guy. Sailing is what he loves.
He also has a very unusual physical trait that makes him stand out.
You don't know jack, let alone anyone in Legal. Give it a rest. You outed
yourself.
AND, no pics of your supposed boat!

First it was a Cal. Now its a Pearson. You're lying (again) and I am going
home. Enjoy your evening.

Check that. You did say it was a Pearson (see, I'll give credit where due).
You're still lying, though.

If I'm boasting, then clearly I'm contented.

Not true - quite the opposite.

I have little use for the rating.
I only cruise and day sail my boat.
You, on the other hand, have boasted about the speed and relative newness

of
your boat.

Only because of the enormous disparity, on both counts, with your boat.

I can only imagine what you think of the older (but better built) vessels

that
populate the list.

We all want something different from our boats. Apart from you, we all
seem to have reached our objectives.

You can't have it both ways, Donal!

You are absolutely correct! I am happy with my boat. It isn't a stepping
stone. It is the realisation of a dream.

I hope that you realise your dream soon.

No, you said he could buy any boat he wanted. That is a short list and I know
all qualifiers.

I'm not going to post someone's name here because

What am I gonna do that you are worried about? Nothing. Its just a
smokescreen.

OK Is he former TW or former AOL? Is he at AOLTW or a division? What is his
specialty? You may know some lawyer there, but here you publicly bootstrapped
your own image off your acquaintance of him without his consent and now he's on
the NG as some super rich guy who could have any boat he wanted. If anything,
I think he'd be embarassed by you.

Not true - quite the opposite.

You boast about your boat's speed and newness. In fact you did it the first day
I "asked" for opinions on the C&C 32...well before I bought her.
You must be horribly dissapointed!
See, Donal...you're doing quite badly. Try another tack!

No one here has a boat that meets my objectives. They all fall short. On the
other hand my current boat fits my current sailing perfectly.
I plan for better, but I'm hardly unhappy with what I have. You need a lesson
in humanity, Donal. Most of the world is starving. while you endeavor to boast
about the speed of your yacht.
Again....try another tack.
