1953 3 hp Evinrude. What is it worth?

Depends of course on physical and mechanical condition, is it in running
condition, demand in your area, how badly someone who may have had one in
their childhood wants to recreate their childhood, etc. There is really no
set values or "Blue Book" on older motors. It's worth what the traffic will
bare.

Silly,

It depends on condition and demand in your area. Ebay often lists older
engines for sale, you might look there to get an idea of the value of yours.

If mint and running it is worth a lot more than is it is beat up and seized
up.

Also look at AOMCI.ORG the site of the Antique Outboard Motor Club.
