Hello all, my boat engine is proped at 13 3/8 x 19..I want to go to a

13
3/8 x 15, will this size prop give me more top end or out of the hole
quicker. The engine is a 1997 Evinrude 115, 4900 RPM wide open trimmed up.
Any help would be great.
Thanks,
David

David,
Less diameter (with the same pitch) will give you less bite and more
'slippage' resulting in higher RPMs.
So you may notice a little better 'hole shot' but your high speeds will
suffer.

Keep and eye on your 'redline' as you don't want to throw a rod!
