Someone motored a twenty something catamaran with a pair of 28 hp
Yanmar Diesel outboards to Hawaii. Atlantic is far easier. I have
crossed the Atlantic twice in Summer, in big ships, and waves averaged
about three feet. And you don't have to do it non stop. Refuel in
Iceland for example.

I don't care. Harry's father NEVER made a trans-Atlantic trip, in
winter, in a 22 foot runabout as claimed. How do I know? Because the
"fireboat welcome" he claims his father got in NYC never, ever
happened. It's a lie, just like all of Harry's lies.

Why so worked up about someone crossing the Atlantic in a small boat?
I suppose someone scared to leave the safety of a shallow land locked lake
like Lanier might be afraid of the big outdoors...but welcome to my world.
We have a Russian immigrant living here who wants to leave Halifax on a solo
row around the world.
We have a trio of French girls who want to paddle a surfboard from here to
France.
Like I said... no country for girliemen!

This is really pretty funny. Loogy, the rec.boats nitwit, is depending
upon the "research" of a woman who was so intellectually inclined, she
"married" him.

That's sort of like a teacher of contemporary events claiming Sarah
Palin as one of his students.

Well, then, you fat lying piece of crap, show us ANY evidence of your
father's fireboat welcome. ANY. And while your at it, you called
someone here a coward for not showing pics of his boat. Show us
evidence that YOU OWN a 36' Zimmerman like lobster boat, coward. Oh,
and another thing, only low life scum like you would talk about
someone's wife. Another thing, both my wife and I are educated and
accomplished, enough so that we don't have to make up lies about every
aspect of our lives like you do.

Don, you just don't understand, do you? I've never ever said that no
one has made a trans Atlantic trip in a runabout in the dead of
winter. I said Harry's father never done it, nor did he ever receive a
fireboat welcome in NYC for that trip.
