I just recently got a Nikon dslr. Love the thing, a LOT to learn. It
behaves a lot differently than a film slr.

You really need to get a DSLR, you don't have to pay for developing,
unless you want a print. An old film SLR can cost a fortune to learn on
and you have to rely on someone else to process the film.

Yes, I have heard a lot about them. Right now I have a Kodak D40. Huge
zoom, nice lens, but very little adjustment available...

I looked at the days photos, and I had already taken off the CP filter
when I took the egret photos. I could tell when I took off the CP due
to low light conditions.
