He at least tries to keep his personal political views in check, not always successfully, but he tries. Although an acknowledged Dem ticket supporter, he went after another prominent Obama supporter pretty hard one day, challenging him to cite any Obama sponsored legislation or senate achievements. The guy couldn't and Matthews made mincemeat out of him. Brokaw is a class act. Williams is trying, but hasn't established himself yet. Gregory is fine, except he talks too much IMO. Several times while giving his commentary during the RNC, I found myself wishing he would shut up for a moment so we could hear what the current speaker was saying. Scarborough is a nut case. He too, is led by a massive ego, IMO. Betcha he's next to go. But the worst is (was) Olbermann. He is the poorest excuse for a journalist on record, I think. 4 million a year for *that*!? Eisboch I though everyone had seen that clip. It's funny as hell, He http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1yXUrC0DF6U Somebody must have reminded Matthews that he was a journalist. |
