hmmm, not sure but it seems they must have gotten tired of Keith
acting like a whiny nrat. Kieth should have stuck to journalism and
left out all the drama.

He should have stuck to calling balls and strikes.
MSNBC pays this guy 4 million a year to give us his ultra biased news
reporting.

From what I've read, longtime and respected journalists Tom Brokaw and Brian
Williams were having difficulty continuing to support MSNBC and NBC because
of the antics of the biased ones, particularly Olbermann.

Olbermann's personal little emotional reaction to the 9/11 tribute at the
RNC is apparently the straw that broke the camel's back. Thank goodness,
somebody finally woke up.

Prediction: Olbermann will quit after giving another unscheduled on the air
preaching, blasting the network's decision. His ego won't allow this to go
unchallenged. He needs to have the last word.

Maybe they'll replace everyone with the fair and unbiased assholes who
appear on Faux News?

Maybe you could filter him?

Or at least not quote him?

Thanks!

Good plan for him. Never saw somebody go downhill so fast. Thought
his head would explode. Apparently it did.
Matthews is very knowledgeable, like a walking encyclopedia, and
creative in thought. Probably because he's half nuts.
Brokaw is a gem. Gregory is very very good. Keeps an even keel in a
storm. Williams can be flaky.
I'll bet Scarborough feels pretty good about this after Uberhead, er,
Olbermann got on his case about telling the truth about some recent
polls.
These are just my opinions, and I may be off-the-wall myself.

I actual like Matthews, for the reasons you stated. He at least tries to
keep his personal political views in check, not always successfully, but he
tries. Although an acknowledged Dem ticket supporter, he went after another
prominent Obama supporter pretty hard one day, challenging him to cite any
Obama sponsored legislation or senate achievements. The guy couldn't and
Matthews made mincemeat out of him.

Brokaw is a class act. Williams is trying, but hasn't established himself
yet.
Gregory is fine, except he talks too much IMO. Several times while giving
his commentary during the RNC, I found myself wishing he would shut up for a
moment so we could hear what the current speaker was saying.

Scarborough is a nut case. He too, is led by a massive ego, IMO. Betcha
he's next to go.

But the worst is (was) Olbermann. He is the poorest excuse for a journalist
on record, I think. 4 million a year for *that*!?
