It doesn't take gonads, all you have to do is stop shaving. I started
out with a goatee, and then just said "screw it" and grew a full beard.
It now takes me about 2 secs. to shave my neck. Since I am thinning
out on the top, I really didn't want to lose any hair, so I am just
letting it migrate south. to my face and (unfortunately) my back. I
don't let it grow long like Gene's so every week or two, I will run a
beard razor over my face to keep it short.
