That just isn't right in my book. As a country, if we are going to war, we should do it as a country meaning everyone should roll the dice. I think those serving might disagree with you, although your general justification has merit. The volunteer military is a much more professional, dedicated and capable organization than that of the draft period which I was a member of. Eisboch |
