the boat would be very dangerous for her.

That's a very sensible comment.
John knows from past exchanges that mom is in a nursing home.
She is now wheelchair bound and will hit 94 in November.
John knows I bought Tom's 15' open aluminum utility type boat.
Anyone who doesn't think he brings my mom into the fray to punish/jab
at/control me might be interested in a couple of local harbour bridges I
have for sale.
How's your credit Loogy?
My mom died at 76. She went for a motorcycle ride at 76. If I'd had a boat,
she'd have gone out in it in a heartbeat. "Walking down the ramp" would be
pretty stupid. I put in where there's a dock. If your mom was in too bad a
shape, for 15 years, to get into a boat, then that's a real shame. It must
have been hard for everyone.

Don, I intended nothing evil when I asked about your mom and the boat. Nor
did I know she was wheel-chair bound. Nor have I been keeping track of her
age. Nor did I say anything which she would in any way find 'harassing'.
But, if you take a question about your mom as 'punishment' or a 'jab', then
I must apologize for unintentionally hurting you.

I certainly didn't mean to do so.

He repeatedly asked you to stop asking about his mother. *You ignored
his request and stepped over the line with your last post.

Your tone in your email was sociable. I attempted to do the same thing..
Maybe the tone was too sociable for public display. That's a shame.

An apology from you ends up in an insult to Don.

I guess that sums things up about your initial intent.

Schitthead Herring has been ragging Don about his mom for years.

I wonder why?

Never mind.

It's one of Herring's little "instigation" tricks. In that regard, he is
Reggie's brother.

Didn't work then, won't work now. Only a handful of your most deviant
dwarfs would condone this behavior.

Sometimes reading rec.boats makes me feel I am sitting in a corner of the
main ward in "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest".

More like watching "Psycho".

One of those Psycho repeats with Perkins was hilarious in an
over-the-top way.
Yeah, I'm talking about the one where he whacked his ma with a shovel
in the kitchen.

I think it was James Cagney as Tommy Udo, who pushed an old lady, not
his mom, in a wheelchair, down a staircase.

He probably took a page from your play book. You know, the one where
you'll say ANYTHING about someone's family members just to cover your
**** trail?

How about saying nasty, untrue things about someone's wife and school
aged children? THAT seems to be quite exceptable to you and Harry.

children?

Richard Widmark in Kiss of Death. Cagney smashed a grapefruit into Mae
Clarke's face in Public Enemy.
