Default Hydrogen Powered Cars?

CNN is running several features today on hydrogen fuel cell cars, and
several times I've heard about a "large tank of hydrogen under the chassis."

One was a Mercedes. So, in the future will we have the new Mercedes
hydrogen powered Hindenburg car, from the wonderful German folk who made
dirigibles famous?

:)

If you remember the years "loogy" has been posting here under various
identities, he has always been the dumb little attack dog. For much of
that time, most of those attacks were aimed at the righties here. I sort
of left him alone during those periods because I figured no one paid
much attention to him. Last year, I believe, he really started going
over the deep end, and I joined in with those who asked him to lighten
up, so, naturally, he started coming after me.

Lately he had become the boytoy of the Seven Little Schitts, who
encouraged him because he was the constant attack dog for them. But I
guess that is waning now, too, though "JustWait" and "Herring" take him
out for some of their spin on occasion.

Loogy has all the natural intelligence of Forrest Gump, but none of the
charm or integrity. When you get right down to it, he's just a dumb
little schitt who wears his buttons on his forehead. Just press one and
watch him explode!

First, I'm not little, second I'm not angry.
You and Harry are here for one reason, to annoy people.
Have you noticed that every single post that you and Harry makes that
concerns me is nasty, mean spirited, trivial bull****? Have you
noticed that every time Harry posts it's either political bull**** or
attacking someone?
Have you noticed that every single post of yours here is nothing but
attacks on other people?
And you wonder why.....idiot.

"Hydrogen Powered Cars?"

I'm all for it! Especially with todays technology it can be done
safely.

A far cry from the hindenberg blimps from 80-90 yr's ago.

I'm not sure but I think the Swedes have a full hydro car in
production now....

First place, the chassis is a thing of the past. Today there is just a
welded together steel box. There isn't room for any large tanks. Maybe
a bunch of small ones.

My car and many pickup trucks have a chassis, though you are essentially
correct. Too bad...frames are a good thing.

What's the differentiation between a large and a small tank of hydrogen
in this instance?

One problem with the hydro-cells, isn't the safty factor, but the
refueling infrastructure. It would take a long time to set up proper
refueling venues accross the land so it would ahve to be on a local
basis. "It's good, just dont venture out too far" idea, That is untill
all things can be set properly. Great idea for commuters, though.

I would think that places like Hawaii would be perfect for hydro cars,
seeing you're on an island and don't have anywhere to go.

But I could really dig Hydro powered boats especially on a lake. a
marina could handle it.
