Default Route 66 Tour

Sir Paul is on a Route 66 tour. His vehicle of choice?

A 1989 Ford Bronco. ;-)

Neat. Don't know how much of 66 is left, most is chopped up.
The article is misleading, as it's about 211 mile to Springfield.
Wonder if they stopped at the Dixie truck stop.

I heard the press is following them and driving them nuts.

I wonder why he chose an 89 Bronco?

I drove it from Barstow to St. Louis in 1964 in my first new car. I was 20
years old, and driving a 140+ mph Chevy Impala SS 4 speed, 3.36 rear gears
and a 300 hp small block. Later went to 3.70 gears. Still a great trip.
Unfortunately was first 2 weeks of January. Had to be in Dayton, OH for
school on Jan 11. Drove into a sleet storm in Missouri and out of it as an
11" blizzard at Terra Haute.
