Did you know that the artichoke is actually a thistle?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Artichoke

I didn't know that.
If you ever tasted one you would be surprised.
I hate atrichokes.

And golf.

Just cuz you can't hit a golf ball further with a baseball bat than I can
with a golf club. 8)

Oh yeah. Forgot about that.

As much as I like Tom, *this* bet he is gonna lose.

Eisboch

*That's* and interesting wager! How will the ball be delivered to the
bat? Tee-ball? The club will win. A pitch? Now you have a challenge!

The 'longest' home run was no more than 650 feet, and that's being most
generous. It was probably less than 550 feet. That's less than 225 yds,
which ain't squat for one who can hit a decent drive. Hell, Lorena Ochoa,
at about 130lbs, regularly pounds them beyond 280 yards.

No wonder you can't hit the green on a par 3. 650 feet = 216 yards, 550
feet = 183 yards.

Now Tim is speaking my language. :)

Think you could hit a golf ball in flight when it's hit with a
baseball bat? :)
