I've tinkered with it, read up on it and sailing in general. I'm ready to give it a try. I'll bet it'll be odd after many years of bass boating! I've wondered what had happened with it. I haven't seen you post anything about it since you bought it. *But don't even try to compare it to your bass boat though. Sailing and powerboating are two different sports. Like tennis and golf, both involve swatting a round ball but other than that, they don't have much common. I'm still looking for one so if your wife finds it's not your cup of tea, be sure to let us know here. : -) Rick Will do, and thanks for the input. I've been reading like a fool about sailing, but you know how that is, reading is not doing! So, with what I've read, I'm it'll be interesting to put it to practical use. I don't think it would be very easy for one person to do, given the size and makeup of the boat, so if the wife decides it's not her idea of fun, I'll keep you in mind! I've got the thing cleaned up very nicely. I was kind of surprised in the condition of it after a good cleaning inside and out. I think I got a real good deal! It doesn't tow bad, but we'll see how launching and loading go. |
