Default Why we left Florida

Just look at it this way. A common bat eats it's own weight each day in
insects. If we had no bats, Florida would be uninhabitable, and so would
the rest of the world.

I've put bat houses up in my back woods. It's amazing to watch them at
dusk.

There are more ants pound for pound, than people.
There are more termites pound for pound than people.
There are more rats than people.
There are more live fish in the sea than all the humans that ever lived
combined.

We are just temporary land barrons on this planet. We need to protect
these natural predators at all costs. These creatures did fine for the
past 250+ million years without our interference. They will be here long
after we are extinct as a species.

And then there are people that think they know more than millions of
years of evolution taught the planet......
