and it looks like the Ranger came through the winter just fine.
Probably just a quick wash and light wax, power wash the interior and
we're off and running.

The new hull bottom looks real good - changed the lines of the boat
quite a bit - I didn't notice that when I picked it up in December.
Here's some images.

Season's getting closer - maybe first run next week.

Ummmm.....

Put the cover back on. Snow is forecast for tonight.

Of course it's going to snow - I took the cover off the boat.

If I had waited until May 30th, it would have snowed then.

It snows every time I take the cover off - it's a fact of life that
I've had to deal with for years.

When I had the Contenders, they were splashed on April 15th every
year.

Guaranteed to have snow by the 16th.

It's my burden to bear. :)

I've told you before, that's one pretty Ranger. I really like that
boat.

Thanks - to tell the truth, I get that a lot. What's interesting is
that I always have other Ranger owners come up to me and ask if it's a
"real" Ranger. Kind of amusing. They only made 300 of them in the
initial two years of production, then they stopped and redesigned the
stern to match the square sterned 2100 and 2300. I don't care for
those in terms of style, but they are great fishing machines.

Don't see a lot of them either - it's kind of unique in style. It
looks lean and mean. Everything I've added since I bought it has just
improved the over all appearance - nothing that I've done
intentionally either - just the way it worked out.

As many times as I've tried to sell the boat, I always pull it back
off the market because I just can't find another like it.
