That was the primary intent but its also too small to be a good roll stabilizer. I've never tried it. I rigged the mast and boom for a dink. Maybe the stabilizing sail works better on the smaller GB's like ours. Narrower beam and less weight? The 36 footer was also the original GB design, so maybe the sail setup was really intended for it and not the bigger boats. Eisboch |
