Default leak in power steering system

I have a leak in the power assisted steering sytem. 1993 Four Winns
(Ford engine) It seems to be coming from the bottom or lower side of
the pump. It does not apear to be where the hoses come in and out.
Having my mechanic look at it this week but thought that I would send
a post. Someone suggested something that you add into the pump to seal
up leaks. Is there such a thing for power steering? Know that there is
for radiators. Would anyone recomend this? It did not seem to leak
when running for 4 hours of 2000 RPMs, but did seem to drain out after
2 hours of higher RPMs. This was only tested for a couple of days so
not sure how much I trust this data. Any suggestions before I send it
to my mechanic? BTW- I have been using oil aborbing material in the
bilge to help keep the oil from being pump out into the bay.
