Not that I am a fan of harry's, but I don't see why Harry owes you or anybody else an explanation. ================================== He once told me that he had a college deferment and that kept him off the list for that time. That was the case with a lot of people at the time, including my district manager. And, you know what? I don't blame them one damn bit!! I would have avoided that war as quickly as anyone. Our Idiot-in-Chief took us into one of the worst wars imaginable and the expected the youth of the country to go fight it. And for what?? There was no winner, only a lot of losers..... Yep...I was II-S for a while. But then I graduated, and my draft status changed to I-A. But then...fate intervened. I certainly never "dodged" the draft. Harry, Did you go into your "fate intervention" straight out of college? |
