Instead of attacks, offer plans and solutions.

I double dare you.
I triple dog dare you!
Ahh, but Bushis running. John McCain is Bush, running on Bush programs
and Bush policies.
As I said, I have no interest in "converts" from rec.boats.
Then please leave us alone.
Not to worry; I'm just here to watch you righties wallow in your misery.

Finally heard why folks are voting for Obama. "He stands for change,
he's different, he stands for hope, and he seems presidential"...
That was from the kids in the audience 19-21 yo.. Two others said if
it's not Billary, they will vote for McCain, both had kids in the
service. Still, not one could name any experience Obama had, and this
was a group of 25 democratic voters. I just amazes me how seemingly
intelligent folks will fall in just to "fit in"...

Isn't it great? Bush and the GOP have so pooched this country that even
a fresh face is enough... :)- Hide quoted text -

If that were true, the dems could put up someone with substance, but
they are afraid to run on policy, they are counting on the rockstar to
flash on by the uninformed..

Obama has plenty of substance. He was elected to the U.S. Senate, he was
a state legislator in Illinois, he taught constitutional law, he was a
community activist, he was head of the Harvard Law Review. He
understands government, he understands the constitution, he relates to
people.

If he is the nominee and is elected, he will bring more to the White
House than George W. Bush brought. Being a "weak" governor of Texas who
knew almost nothing of the world and who failed in a number of
businesses, and who had been arrested a few times...Obama is a lot
better than that.

I have no concerns about Obama, if he is the one. Or Mrs. Clinton, if
she is chosen.

Actually we do care, that's why we are so concerned for Obama. He is
up to his ass in illegal realestate deals just like Billary, we hope
Obama does not end up another victim of "Arkansas Suicide". And since
when do the dem leadership care about integerity. This is the party
that put Jefferson in charge of the purse strings for the federal
offices investigating the 90,000 dollars he sold out the country for.
That alone should make more Americans mad, at least those who care
about America more than just power...

Do you and Ralph Nader share the same DNA?

Not all of us have been brainwashed into believing in the various conspiracy
theories that you and your kind delight in perpetuating at every
opportunity. You know, like Cheney having secret meetings with "Big Oil"
and OPEC to keep oil prices high, just to line his pockets, with Bush giving
a wink and nod and all. All presented as fact, although there's absolutely
no proof or even rational logic to support these absurd accusations by any
legitimate economist, Wall Street analyst or even investigative journalist.

It is obvious to the most oblivious observer that your particular crusade is
not really against "righty" politicians. It's against big business and the
management thereof. That's the common thread in your conspiracy theories,
routinely linking a back door "big business" connection to every person,
event or issue that you object to.

This is not surprising, since you've buttered your bread for years pimping
as a labor organizer who, by default, must assume an anti-business,
anti-management philosophy to be noticed and have any success. Like Ralph
Nader, it has now become a *way* of thinking for you, interpreting all
inputs with filters in place. Too bad, because there *is* plenty of "good"
to be enjoyed and be thankful for with opportunities for those willing to
work and take advantage of them.

It's not us wallowing in our own misery. People with your mindset create
their own misery index. It amazes me how much you enjoy it.

As usual, very well put. After reading this group for many years I reached
the conclusion a couple of years ago that Harry's attitude presented here is
just a Usenet persona. No one could possibly be that miserable in face to
face conversations.

That's right: Cheney did NOT hold secret meetings with the oil industry
to set national energy policies, right? And the Bush Admini did not
fight tooth and nail to keep those meetings secret, right?
