" Four million Angry White Men are members of the National Rifle Association, and all of them will vote against Hillary Clinton, just as the great majority of them voted for George Bush." Take it to alt.politics.. *Don, I'm a member of the NRA , and the ILA and a couple other gun groups...and i'm not angry... At least I dont' think so..... Ask your Dr. Dr. wife. Does Tim have a Dr Dr wife?? * * *You sippin the single malt early again Bertie? Sorry Tim, not enough coffee but you know I was talking about Harry and his "membership" in the NRA. I'm not a member of the NRA, crap-for-brains... Could you join for a day, so Blurt can feel like he finally made a valid statement about something? No. I can only imagine the "swiftboating" crap the righties are going to be trying in this cycle.- Hide quoted text - - Show quoted text - In rec.boats, it's called lobster boating, Harry. Loogy, just so you don't forget...I thanked you for that recipe, but since you said you'd post the 'real' one next time you made those fritters, I'm going to be waiting for it. In the meantime, I came across this one, which 'cheats' a little! CORN FRITTERS * * 1 c. Bisquick 1 egg 1/2 c. milk 1 can corn, drained Combine all ingredients and let stand 5 minutes. Fry in deep hot fat a teaspoonful for each fritter. Turn when browned on one side. Serve with syrup or honey. BTW, do you eat yours with syrup, or is that a yankee thing, like milk on grits? -- John H- Hide quoted text - - Show quoted text - man, I'm glad you like 'em. Me? *ugh!* |

You've got to use decent corn, like Green Giant or something. You can't expect good results when you get your corn for $1.73 per case. -- John H |
