A pub?

You live in England?

Wow - who knew.

I was just messing with Harry telling him I lived in Atlanta. *

That used to be in Amerika. What Happened? Have I been Whooshed?

Atlanta sucks so bad, if a plane I have to take has a stopover there, I
pick a different flight.- Hide quoted text -

Of course! If Harry doesn't live there it totally sucks!
How long did you live in Atlanta to know so much about it, Harry?

Reggie, Anchor doesn't make an IPA. There is an Anchor Liberty Ale
that's quite good, though and close to an American Pale Ale. I like
Sierra Nevada IPA, and also their Wheat Beer is very good.
While they don't call it an IPA Anchor Liberty Ale really is an IPA

I only drink wheat beer in the summer with a twist of lemon.
No lemon needed with Sierra Nevada Wheat. Try it, you'll like it. No,
Liberty Ale isn't an IPA. It isn't even an American Pale Ale, but it's
closer to American than anything. It IS a very good beer, none the
less. Because of it's hybrid style, Beer Advocate calls it an APA.

OK Loogie, on my way to the beer store, gonna make your red ale..
later...

It's hard to tell from your posts and those of Loogy that the two of you
have somewhat of an obsession with booze.- Hide quoted text -

Harry, do you realize that beer making has been going on for thousands
of years. It's a real lesson in history, chemistry, sanitation,
microbiology, etc. Of COURSE you don't like it because you don't do
it, nor have the brains to do it.

There's a guy over in North Grovesnordale who has a small micro
brewery - makes all kinds of exotic beers for the local establishments
and he does quite well.

Don't know if he puts lemon in his beer or not - have to ask him next
time I see him.

Anyway, what a lot of folks don't know is that he makes a root beer
and sarsaparilla that is unbelievable.

I buy a case of one each every other month or so and ration it. It's
expensive, but man, it's all organic ingredients and made old school.

It's to die for man, I'll tell you what... :)

Yup, I have been caught, I live in London and hang out in the Rooster
and Oyster Pub. All this time Harry thought I lived in Atlanta.

Rooster and Oyster Pub?

Um....

Oh I'll just let that one pass. :)

I make rootbeer for my kids. The ingredients are getting expensive
unless you go the Hire's concentrate route, which I don't. Haven't
made any in a couple of years, may do so sometime this spring. If so,
I'll keep you in mind.

Good move...we can mold them into real men.....not weenies afraid to venture
beyond a mill pond on a low transom boat.
Here's an example I'm talking about. I've sailed this boat on Halifax
Harbour myself and had it's owner out on my Sandpiper 565.
note...almost entire trip exposed to open sea conditions on the North
Atlantic.
