Our governor just yesterday called for a $3-million apprenticeship program to train people for jobs in aircraft assembly. Boeing can't find enough qualified help, and the ripple effect from that is that wages are being driven up throughout the region. If we could turn off the national news, I think we'd probably have almost boom times in this particular region. |
