It comes up down here, too, and among Parker owners. But for one in a
survey about it, everyone has either removed it, or ordered their boat
without it.

Of course they do.

Oddly, real fishermen, you know like those who play in the North
Atlantic not sheltered bay, keep them on.

I've been looking for a kicker engine and guess what?

Apparently Evinrude will be making ETECs in 9.9, 15 and 25 horsepower
due to popular demand.

ETECs are now becoming the defacto standard for clean burning,
efficient engine power.

Soon, four strokes will be a thing of the past.

Those who own transomless boats with four stroke engines will become a
drain on the market for real boats with real engines.
