We are already seeing 30+' swells.

Maybe you should all move to South Florida where it is safe ;-)

Heh. Was there any water in Estero Bay on Thursday? We had the
lowest tides here that I've ever seen.

When I was out there in Nov. the surf was just fair. But, hey, I also
got to see the Martinez beaver!

They have cables mounted in the beaver dam to pull it down if needed.
One of the beavers did die this morning. Was blind and they had taken
it to the vet for a checkup as it looked sick. One of the few places
in the Sac Delta where beavers are protected. I see them once in a
while when fishing. But they dig burrows in the levees and are a major
factor in levee failures.
Bill,
If it has 30' waves, why do they call it the Pacific?

Because if was Pacific before it went bezerk.

Lying West Coasters.

I've been watching that system develop on the Weather Channel. All the
makings of a West Coast version of "The Perfect Storm".

Watch out.

Ditto. On the positive side..........we will benefit from that west coast
storm, at least here in Northern Ohio, with temperatures in the 50's
forecast for Monday and Tuesday. That storm system is the direct cause of
the forecast moderate temperatures.

About 24' at the Bodega Buoy now.

Check the history to see 31'.
