One of the beavers did die this morning. Was blind and they had taken it to the vet for a checkup as it looked sick. One of the few places in the Sac Delta where beavers are protected. I see them once in a while when fishing. But they dig burrows in the levees and are a major factor in levee failures. |

Have a couple of large Alder trees and must have lost most of the rest of the leaves last night. Neighbors garbage can blew over, and street is littered with paper. |

The lowered the Channel Islands forecast to 6 to 8 Seas from the 12-14 foot swells earlier predicted. Outside the islands, it is 11 to 14 now. That said it is a gale here. S |
