Learn to read headers. New handle, new machine, old poster, same old
munged email addy. Nothing to do with anybody you're thinking about.
So why do you find it necessary to hide your identity and constantly
change handles?
How many handles have you used over the years?

Unlike you I have used just one over the past couple of years since
dumping Dennis Compton.

How many handles have you used over the past month?

He's used about seven or eight since I turned on my bozo bin last week.
I'm guessing he thinks I am "filtering" him on his faked user name or
faked email address. That's just one way he's being filtered, but not
the only way. That's why as soon as he "changes" it, the filter catches
the change and dumps him down in the septic tank, along with the other
effluent. Reggie is *gone* unless he is requoted and I happen to read
that post.

:}

If you have me filtered perfectly, who gives a crap? You really do seem
to really love your "bozo bin".

And even more
relevant for Microsoft is the fact that even with IE7 on the market,
it
has continued to lose its grip over the browser market dropping from
over 80% in 2006 to 77.35%, while Firefox grew to an estimated 16.01%.

I didn't even know what browser version I had - I've got IE 7.

Works for me.

Me too, but I rarely use it. I use Firefox. I like it.

You know what I hate most about Firefox and IE7?

Tabbed browsing.

Tabbed browsing is what turned me on to FF in the first place at a time
when
IE hadn't gotten around to it.

Just curious, what don't you like about the tab feature?

I don't know - seems like over kill. You can always open another
window if you need more than one - hell, two or three if necessary.

I had somebody tell me one time that the advantage of tabs was that
she could open as many as 14 tabs at once and flip back and forth.

My answer was that she needed serious psychiatric help. :)

From an ergonomic standpoint, it's no better than opening up another
window, so what's the point?

Personally I feel tabs are less clutter than multiple windows. But you know
the saying, opinions are like belly buttons, everybody has one.

I guess that's why they make Fords, Chevys, Toyotas, etc. :-)

Is Internet Explorer 7 matching Windows Vista in the level of

Did your *source* have any reviews of the Chevy Silverado?
Oh joy...the class idiot has promoted himself to computer maven. Glad I
have the troll where he belongs, in the dumpster with the rest of the
crap.
Reggie said he uses FireFox but complains about IE7. He earlier said his
OS
is WinXP but complains about VISTA.

Is there a pattern here?
I dunno' he has mostly pasted other folks experience, fair enough. I
have noticed over the year when folks have insufficient backups to
revert back from a bad package or installation, they tend to get real
testy and look for someone to go off on (blame)... ;)

JimH,
That is so easy to figure out, and I thought you said you knew computers.
Check the IP and you will see who they are.

You are the master of handle changes. I care not to see how many dozens of
handles you have morphed into over the past weeks or months.

What I do know is that you have claimed to own a platoon party boat and a
bubble boat. Which one is your imaginary boat 'du jour'?

Nope, never claimed any such thing, the last time you told this lie, you
said I claimed to own a houseboat. While I did spend the weekend in a
houseboat, I never said it was mine.

This sounds like the time you whined about Chuck publishing personal
info about you in the NG. this went on for 15 or so posts, then someone
posted a link to the original link, showing that you lied. Everyone
knows you game.

When Harry said you lived in a tacky little house, was he off the mark?

It is the same thing as using your bottom toolbar, but I would think it
would use less resources since you don't have a different shell opened
for each page.

I won't buy one if only because I hate GUI and Apple brought it to the
world.

lol

do they still make a version of DOS you can revert to?
