Some folks just don't understand how to use a tool within it's limitations, without getting hurt. This is great, wonder how Harry will write this one off, will he call you names, totally flip out and photoshop something, or just pretend he did not notice the thread;) |

JimH, are you telling us that this was a 'troll', just to start an argument? You would actually use your own son to do that? You continue to prove the total accuracy of Tom's assessment of you! ************************************************** ****** No offense but I need for you to explain. We picked up my son today at the airport as he begins his 14 day leave, although most of his time will be spent in uniform as a recruiters assistant. He had been at Ft/Camp Leonard Wood, MO for the past several weeks, idle time after his several weeks of combat training at Camp Lejeune and before his MOS training starting at the Camp on 1/4/08. What surprised him was the fact that Army recruits in initial training (they are already called soldiers, not recruits) at the Camp were given the same time off even though they were in the middle of their 9 week initial training (the USMC calls that time basic training and is 13 weeks long followed by 5 weeks or so of combat training). On the other hand the USMC recruits in the midst of their 13 week basic training on both coasts at this time of year get no time off during this Christmas season and continue on with their training. In fact, they never get time off during this basic training. While I appreciate the support the US Army provides us..........what gives with the soft Army training? ************************************************** *** -- John H *Have a Super Christmas and a Spectacular New Year!* |

What fun he will be! :} If your reference was to my Parker fishing boat, Whine, she's just where I parked here, well-protected under the shrinkwrap. When I unwrap her in late March or early April, she'll be in perfect shape, clean, lean, and ready for fun. And in a few years, when her warranty expires, why, I'll just sell her for close to what I paid, and buy another boat. Sure beats dumping $20,000 or whatever into a burned out transmission, eh? |
