Press release:

Nordic Star Yachts (www.nordicstarusa.com)

The Nordic Star Yacht series is the first fusion of the ultimate in
luxury and affordable price. The Norwegian-designed Nordic Star
yachts are elegant, easy to operate and of lasting value, perfect for
weekend cruising. The models in the series are single-engine motor
yachts, between 9.7 and 10.2 meters in length, seating 8 comfortably
and with choice of layouts from the sleek lines of the open design
'Sportsman', to the stylish 'Runabout' and 'Cruiser' and the
functional design of the 'Hardtop' which offer comfortable two-berth
overnight accommodation. The Nordic Star Series carries a blend of
what is traditional Scandinavian, with lines from other classic boats
designed in the United States in the late 1920s and 30s, and truly
modern design ideas from Continental Europe. But more than just
beautiful lines, The Nordic Star Series is about fun and friendship.
They are small enough to be a joy to handle, yet large enough to
accommodate day and weekend cruising with family and friends, or
entertaining business associates on a summer evening. The models are
designed for coastal waters, fjords, lakes and inland waters and can
reach up to 30 plus knots, with range up to 180 nautical miles. The
styling is to "yacht standards" with extensive use of teak in both the
interior and exterior fit out. The Nordic Star yachts are offered
with a Yanmar engine driving a conventional shaft and propeller.
Starting at $250,000, visit www.nordicstarusa.com or call (978)
210-7550 for further information.

Is it just me...or do they seem expensive for 'made in China' open type
boats.

If you happen to speak to someone from that company, tell them to lose the
Flash nonsense. It's annoying and slow. When I want to browse products, I
want to see them as quickly as if I turned a magazine page. They're using
Flash to switch from one picture to another, which can be done faster in
other ways. Silly.

Cool, but then what happens when I go to a site where I want to see the
pictures, and they're only available via the flash travesty?

I never said that. If you disagree, quote the text. I said I want to view
pictures without flash. Before that, I said the site design was defective.
