You know all. Where did the term Redneck come from?
I'll play. From the unionizing coal miners and their red
bandanas.
Mark E. Williams

No, the term probably is religious in nature, and from another
country.
In
this country, it used to refer to members of the rural white
workers
of the southern states.

Nope, Mark is correct. Hary, you are not very versed in mine union
history.

Mark isn't even close.... and I have no idea from whence that
nonsense
issued....

the wiki reference is about spot on.....

Trust Wikipedia? zowza.

Ok.... who, pray tell, is the author of your cite? Who *is* Patrick
Huber? Is he *SO* incredibly versed that we should accept his word as
gospel... with no question? Did you notice he has *NO* citations for
his claims? Who published hi work... in fact, was it published at
all??? He might as well have said that the term was decreed by aliens.
Matter of fact, while you are at it..... why not let us all know who
and what bnet.com is...... (research center? Riiiiiiiggghhhtt..)

Wikipedia, on the other hand, offers no less than 29 citations to
support it's claims. Tell you what. Check out those 29 sources and
let me know what about Huber refutes that information.....

How old are you Harry. They haven't raced cars on the beach in Daytona
since the Eisenhower administration. You can still drive on some
stretches of beach there but the speed
limit is 10MPH or less.

You're confusing watching the races and being on the beach watching the
tourists drive by.

Go to Daytona during bike week. Lots of interesting "sights" to observe.

Harry at bike week, now that's frekin' hilarious. He would cry...

We didn't live that far from Daytona when we were Floridians, so we
cruised on down there one Bike Week to enjoy the visuals. It was amazing
to see such a great number of "oversized" women cramming their
avoirdupois into such skimpy clothing.- Hide quoted text -
