I have to ask, what is a 1600 lb firecracker? If you mean a horse, I
love horses, but I do approach an unknown horse with caution, just so he
can get used to me.

I never cared for horses, I got thrown a couple times when i was a
kid. Once the horse got stung by a bee.

I'd rather take my chance's with an old Ossa 250 , or Bultaco 360. At
least if you get thrown off of them, it's probably your own fault.

Right now, I would not even consider owning a horse, too many
responsibilities and risks. Leases are cheap, we actually got an offer
from the other side of the state for a free lease, just come and tend/
work the horse at least 4 days a week.

a few years ago we chartered a boat for a days run. At about 12 miles
out we saw some folks in what looked like a 16 ft jon boat. The charter
captain just looked down and said Oh-my-gosh :-)

If it floats - people will try it..
